I knew as soon as I saw the apartment on Airbnb I would have to rent it for us. If you were to ask me what decorating style I like, I’d probably answer modern Scandinavian (no, not Ikea) or perhaps New England. In short, the absolute antithesis of this place.
But some places come with their own kinky vibe and it’s impossible to look at images without superimposing an intimately kinky scene. The fireplace, for example, needed to have someone stood up against it, hands on the mantle, nervously waiting the first stroke.
In reality the decorations seemed a little tired, but the overall effect was exactly as advertised. So, we did use the fireplace, and the Chesterfield sofa, and the strange little stool, and we shut ourselves away in the wood lined, ornately decorated bedroom.
She took this picture in the morning, catching me snoozing while she showered. What a wonderful evening we had shared. We didn’t have to check out till 11 either……
