I’m in her kitchen, massaging garlic, cinnamon and lemon juice into a half-shoulder of lamb. It’s Greek Kleftiko. The dish is that unusual thing, a holiday food that actually works at home.
“This would make a great Sinful Sunday!” she said. My response was a weary sigh, but as with the grass cutting picture she talked me in to, I have ended up enjoying the result.
