I haven’t done one of my occasional “Big Man Does The Chores” posts for a while. The truth is, I haven’t done any kind of post for a while.
I’ll admit there was a bit of a thrill in setting up and taking this shot, as I gave the wisteria it’s annual haircut. Naked up a ladder on the terrace at the back of my home, knowing that, if the people in the house that backs onto my garden happen to be in their bedroom at four in the afternoon, they’ll see me.

As an aside, there’s a pair of pigeons that nest in exactly the same spot in the Wisteria every year. I leave pruning it as long as I can, but couldn’t wait until the little ones had fledged as the wisteria was already getting into the roof space.
