SUITED (sinful sunday)

By | 21st November 2020

I’ve been doing some sorting out ready to move just before Christmas.

I used to wear a suit every day and so always had a few on the go. I had a bad habit of not throwing them away when I bought a new one, so the cupboard where they live was still full of suits. With Covid, I might wear a suit once a month so how many can I possibly need? I guess I might one day get back to spending some time in an office.

For now, I’m going through them all, checking the fit, looking at the amount of wear, deciding which to keep,

What do you reckon with this one?

Congratulations, I think you’re the only man (except my partner) who has distracted me by wearing a suit, maybe that’s because you’re actually more not wearing it than wearing it.

I too have old, but barely used suits in my wardrobe. Even back when I was working, suits were only ‘required’ for client sales visits. My last was for my daughter’s wedding, 9 years ago. Suits were primarily for weddings and funerals, usually my parent’s generation back then.
But now, suits are only for ANZAC Day whilst wearing my father’s war medals, and funerals, sadly of my own generation now.

Absolutely definitely think you should keep that one…. and wear it next time you have someone round for dinner maybe
