It’s nearly two weeks since these marks were created and they’re fading but taking their time.
The experience that caused them was so intense, so physically and emotionally demanding that I shall truly be sorry to see them go. I hope the memories won’t fade with them.
The obvious choice is to create some new memories.

I don’t mark very well nor do they hang around for long but the memories never fade.
I love marks. Mine always fade too quickly not matter what but as you say, there can always be more
