I am neither artist nor art critic but I love works where a single, well drawn line or a few brush strokes hint at the beauty of a scene and invite us to fill in the rest of the picture ourselves.
This image does that for me.
I thought it looked like an oil paining, simple blocks of colour suggesting the light on her shoulder blade, the cleft of her spine, the lightness of the material.
I must admit that it pleases me greatly and makes me wistful for the intimate encounter it reminds me of.
mmmmm
This wasn’t the product of some fancy image editing suite with an “oil paint” function. It was no more than a happy accident born of the low resolution of a paused GIF. It was suddenly there on the screen and I immediately thought “Sinful Sunday!”
Well not quite immediately.
My first thought was: “Gosh but Lilly is lovely! I may have sighed a bit too.”
The wonderful session this picture was part of is described here
More Sunday sin here
I love the silhouette too – beautiful edit x

I hadn’t noticed the silhouette , but yes it adds something extra. A great, if accidental image xx
And the silhouette of her on the wall in the distance gives it beautiful depth

My favorite part of this image is the silhouette of your face!!
Gorgeous. Sometimes the small details are the most beautiful.
