Content warning: If you find talk of food and dieting triggering, this might not be of you
Also this post will refer, possibly more than once, to being on a “journey” and I realise that’s a bit of a clichè for bloggers. Sorry. Ish.
I’ve been on a journey. (Don’t say I didn’t warn you!) It’s 65 year journey to reach this point in my life, a ten year journey to explore and understand my kinks, a five year journey through therapy and a two week journey to finally make sense of it all.
Now you see why I had to issue the J-word warning!
One of the benefits of reaching the end of this journey (last time, promise) is to finally get out of my own way and start on a path towards better health and fitness. I’m 12 pounds down of a target of 30 and after years of ineffective medication, my blood pressure is already responding. I’m hopeful my cholesterol and blood sugar will follow.
I hope you’ll forgive me the self- indulgence evident in this image. It’s as much about flattering (or flattening !) camera angles as about weight loss, but I’m starting to notice the change.
My post bringing everything together and marking, I hope, the start of something new is here.
More delectable Sunday Sin here:
I would agree healthy isn’t always a ‘being’ but more importantly a ‘feeling’. So glad you’re feeling as amazing as you look.
This is definitely an awesome image. Strength and confidence radiate out of it.
Like Annie I agree about the word healthy being the key. And I will say in this image you do look, umm, mightly healthy *grins

I love that you called this photo “healthy.” being healthy and feeling good is where it’s at
You know what I said about you for this image. You look amazing. Add in your power, poise and your presence and it is no wonder that you have an effect on people.
